Oracle Danes breeds only to produce the highest quality Great Danes possible. Temperament, health and conformation are our standards. Puppies are not a “Cash Crop” and are not mass produced to “Have A Litter To Sell.”
An ethical breeder puts years of planning into a breeding, hundreds of miles driving to get to the best possible bitch/stud and thousands of dollars into a litter in hopes of producing a litter that will be better than the last and carry on your kennel name. Of the wonderful variety of colors produced from a Harle/Harle or Harle/Mantle, breeding only 2 are acceptable “show” colors: Harlequin and Mantle. The rest of the color combinations should not be considered pet quality but pet colors; the same careful breeding went into producing those colors. Also, remember they are from the same litter.
We do not accept deposits or “hold” pups before a litter is born and we do not sell pet colors on a first come first serve basis. EVERY potential pet parent is thoroughly screened and must meet certain requirements. All pet pups are sold with a LIMITED registration, a strict contract and must be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age.
